| Gilbert family self portrait |
Well folks, this is our first attempt at blogging or putting any kind of communication out there about who we are, where we're heading, and how we're getting there. We feel called to serve God in El Salvador through Potter's Field Ministries and are in the beginning stages of raising support (prayer and financial), renting out our home in Media, PA (let us know if you are interested), selling one of our cars (let us know if you are interested) and packing up (once again, let us know if you are interested) :)
Our timing is to be heading out to the Potter's Field headquarters in Whitefish, MT at the end of February 2010. We will be starting their four month missions training school at the beginning of March and hopefully be in El Salvador next summer.
We will be updating this as often as possible. But to get started, here are a few pictures of us for you to get to know us. We love and covet your prayers and encouragement right now and please let us know how we can pray for you as well. More to come....

Congrats, Gibert Family! What an AMAZING adventure you have in front of you. Ryan and I really look forward to your posts and photos! If you find that your photos start to accumulate and number more than you can post on your blog, Blogger interfaces well with Picasa (both Google-driven sites). Randy, I will email you some of the technical specs, if you're interested. Good luck, guys! Maybe one of these days we will continue the Rauch adventures down in Central America and we'll come find you!
ReplyDeletei will definitely be following...congratulations!!!
